Durham Regional Police Service is asking the public for home security or dashcam footage as the investigation into a shooting incident in Ajax continues.

On Friday, January 22, 2021, at approximately 2 p.m., a male and female were seen driving a white vehicle in the area of Knapton Avenue and Cedar Street in Ajax. The male exited the vehicle and fired several shots at a house before getting back in the vehicle and speeding away. No injuries were reported. Police say multiple shell casings were recovered.

The male suspect is described as Black, 18-25 years old, about 5’5” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The female suspect in the passenger seat of the vehicle is described as South Asian, about 18-25 years old. She was wearing a red coat.

The vehicle is described as a newer model Toyota, four-door white sedan.
