It was around 6 pm on Monday, November 30, 2020, when Clarington Emergency & Fire Services responded to a house fire on Solina Road near Connsesion rd 7.
Arriving crews came into fire conditions coming from the home and began fighting the fire along with the help of Oshawa Fire Services and Scugog Fire. There were no injuries.

This morning Clarington Fire Chief Gord Weir said that the fire is being investigated as a suspicious fire and Durham Regional Police Service and Clarington fire prevention are on the scene this morning. The chief also stated that the home has extensive damage and that the Ontario Fire Marshall may be contacted.
