Durham Regional Police Service is investigating after a Toronto man was dropped off at an Oshawa intersection suffering from a gunshot wound.

On Friday, July 3, 2020, at approximately 10:45 p.m., A Region of Durham Paramedic Services ambulance was flagged down by a male suffering from a gunshot wound at the intersection of Bloor Street East and Ritson Road South in Oshawa.

The 27-year-old male victim told responding police officers that he had been dropped off at the location in a black Honda and could not recall where in Oshawa the shooting took place.

He was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries. Ant further details have not been forthcoming and the investigation continues.
