Durham Regional Police located a stolen vehicle and arrested three suspects as they attempted to flee from police in Pickering on Sunday morning.

On Sunday, March 29, 2020, at approximately 3:20 a.m., officers located a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas parked in a gas station on Kingston Road in Pickering with three occupants sleeping inside. As officers attempted to investigate the occupants, the driver tried to flee by ramming one of the police vehicles. The vehicle was stopped by other police vehicles, and the three suspects were eventually arrested. The car was seized as it was reported to have been stolen from Brampton.

Rajdeep, SIDHU, age 33, of Buckland Way in Brampton, is charged with: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000; Obstruct Police and Resist Arrest.

Jashandeep LAKHESAR, age 24, of Matisse Place in Mississauga, is charged with: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 and Resist Arrest.

Sanjog, JASSAL, age 28, of Dusk Drive in Brampton, is charged with: Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000; Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Drug; Obstruct Police and Resist Arrest.
