Two armed suspects are sought after a violent bank robbery in Pickering Friday night. 

 

On Friday, February 14, 2020, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Durham Regional Police responded to the Scotiabank on Kingston Road in Pickering. The two suspects entered the bank, both armed with guns, and made a demand for cash. The suspect’s pistol-whipped two of the employees and injured a third during the robbery. No money was obtained, and the suspects fled the bank into a vehicle. Officers searched the area with negative results.

 

Three victims were taken by Region of Durham Paramedic Services to the hospital for facial injuries. 

 

The suspects are described as both male, black, between 17-23 years of age, 5’10” tall. They had their faces covered and were armed with handguns.
