On Monday, January 20, 2020, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Durham Regional Police Service responded to the CIBC bank on Simcoe Street and King Street in Oshawa for a robbery. The suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money and fled the bank on foot with a quantity of cash.
Responding officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect and one was physically injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as male, white, in his mid-50s, shoulder-length brown hair. He was wearing a brown winter coat with an X logo on the back.
