Durham Regional Police Service continues to look for any information to identify the suspect from a serious failure to remain collision in late November of 2019.

 

On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a 26-year-old female pedestrian was thrown through the air after being struck at the intersection of Taunton Road and Gillett Drive in Ajax. The vehicle involved failed to remain at the scene.

 

Officers submitted the debris for analysis and received information that the evidence located belongs to a 2006 to 2011 Honda Civic, either a two or four-door vehicle. The victim described the car as a black vehicle.

 

The victim suffered serious injuries and is still recovering.

Durham Regional Police Service is asking for witnesses to come forward to help identify a motorist who left the scene of a pedestrian involved collision last night in Ajax.

 

On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a 26-year-old female pedestrian was thrown through the air after being struck at the intersection of Taunton Road and Gillett Drive in Ajax. The vehicle involved failed to remain at the scene.

 

The female received multiple serious injuries and was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre by Region of Durham Paramedic Services.

The vehicle involved may have been a black Honda sedan.
