Rainfall warning is in effect for Durham Region combined with melting snow and the frozen ground; this could make for some serious flooding around our Region.
Rain is expected to become continuous and substantial at times overnight then continue Saturday. Total rainfall amounts of 40 to 60 mm are anticipated by Saturday evening.

Please be safe around any flooded areas 

The rain may change over to freezing rain beginning Saturday evening as temperatures dip to near the zero degrees. Freezing rain warnings may be needed in some areas as this event draws closer.

We will update any warnings from Environment Canada and will be out in the storm Saturday night
