Durham Regional Police Service are releasing additional information regarding the vehicle involved in a fatal collision that killed a female cyclist in Oshawa.
They have information that indicates the vehicle is an older model silver Nissan SUV and police say it would have a broken headlight, a smashed dark-coloured plastic stone chip or bug deflector attached to the hood and may have damage on the hood
The investigation continues and anyone with new information is asked to contact D/Cst. Bill Scott of the Traffic Services Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5217.

A female cyclist has died as a result of being struck by a vehicle in Oshawa early Friday morning.
Durham Regional Police were dispatched to the area near Stevenson Road South between Laval Drive and Champlain Avenue just before 5am for a report of an accident.
Durham Regional Police Traffic Services Branch were called to the scene, after it was reported that the female cyclist who was struck was later pronounced dead.
Stevenson Road remains closed in both directions between Gibb Street and Champlain Avenue for this investigation.
