Durham Regional Police Service are investigating after a male was located in Oshawa suffering from multiple stab wounds last night.

On Monday, December 9, 2019, at approximately 10:10 p.m., Police, along with Region of Durham Paramedic Services, responded to an unknown trouble call on the northwest corner of Simcoe Street and Bloor Street in Oshawa. A naked male was seen in the area with multiple injuries, and he was screaming.

Officers arrived and located a 37-year-old Oshawa male. He was treated at the scene by Region of Durham Paramedic Services before being transported to an area hospital in stable condition. He was later transferred to a Toronto trauma centre with multiple serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The male has been uncooperative, and the investigation into what caused the wounds is underway. A potential crime scene was located at a house on Lviv Boulevard in Oshawa.
