One suspect fled empty-handed after an Oshawa convenience was robbed in the early morning.

On Saturday, November 2, 2019, at approximately 9:55 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a robbery at Jug City convenience store on King Street East in Oshawa. The suspect entered the store armed with a metal pipe made a demand for cash and threatened the clerk. A customer entered the store during the robbery and the suspect fled on foot empty handed.

There were no physical injuries to any employees or customers.

The suspect is described as: male, white with grey bearded facial hair. He was wearing a red and white plaid jacket, blue hat, cargo pants, black shoes and wore glasses.
