Durham Regional Police Services are looking for a lone suspect after a gas station robbery in Whitby last night.

On Monday, July 29, 2019, at approximately 11:45 p.m., members of DRPS Central West Division were dispatched to a robbery call at the Ultramar gas station on Dundas Street West in Whitby.

Police arrived and the clerk indicated that the male entered the store armed with a knife and made a demand for cash. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police checked the area with negative results. The clerk was not physically harmed during the incident.

The suspect is described as: male, black, 20’s, 5’11” tall, wearing jean shorts and a black T-shirt. He was armed with a knife.
