Investigators are trying to identify a female suspect after a male received multiple, minor stab wounds during an altercation at an Oshawa park.

On Sunday, June 9, 2019 at approximately 12:30 a.m., the Durham Regional Police Central East Division Officers, already in Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on an unrelated manner, witnessed a male enter the emergency department with multiple, minor wounds. He was treated for several minor injuries and later released.

The 25-year-old male said he had been in Memorial Park several hours earlier and was drinking with strangers, including two unknown females, when a fight broke out. The male said he was stabbed several times by one of the females. Believing the wounds to be minor, the male went to his girlfriend’s house in Oshawa and she later convinced him to go to the hospital for treatment.

The female suspect is described as white, about 5’5” tall, wearing red sneakers, red pants and a red jacket.
