Durham Regional Police K-9 models and their handlers welcomed community members to Pet Smart in Whitby on Thursday for the official launch of the 2019 K-9 Calendar. The dogs grace the pages of this year’s calendar which was photographed across the region.

This year sales from the 5th annual calendar will support three local agencies, Alzheimer Durham Region, The Animal Guardian Society (TAGS) and the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre. Over the years the calendar has raised over $126,000 for local agencies in Durham Region.

The K-9 Unit prides itself on an unwavering work ethic, whether at a scene of a serious crime, looking for a missing child or other member of our community, or at the numerous community events members attend each and every year. Each member of the unit wears the uniform with pride.
